Refund Policy

Effective Date: May 24, 2026

1. Overview

This Refund Policy explains how refunds and subscription cancellations work for purchases of Gotostudy. Paid transactions are processed by Creem as merchant of record, so approved refunds for Creem-processed payments must be handled through Creem's systems.

Please contact us before opening a payment dispute. We respond to billing and refund requests within 3 business days.

2. Refund Eligibility

  • Duplicate charges, incorrect amounts, or other documented billing errors.
  • A paid subscription or credit grant was not delivered to your account after a successful payment.
  • A technical issue caused an extended inability to access paid features and we cannot reasonably resolve it.
  • A legal right to a refund applies in your jurisdiction.

3. Non-Refundable Items

  • Credits, tokens, or AI generation resources that have already been consumed.
  • Charges from prior billing periods after the refund request window has passed, unless required by law.
  • Accounts suspended or terminated for Terms of Service violations, fraud, chargeback abuse, or prohibited content generation.
  • Dissatisfaction caused by normal AI limitations after the Service was delivered as described.

4. Request Window

Refund requests should be submitted within 14 days of the charge. Requests involving duplicate charges, unauthorized transactions, or legal consumer rights may be reviewed outside this window where required.

Creem may also issue refunds within its own payment, chargeback, fraud-prevention, and consumer-protection procedures.

5. How to Request a Refund

  • Email hello@gotostudy.net from the email address on your account.
  • Include your account email, order or transaction ID if available, purchase date, and the reason for the request.
  • Include screenshots or other context that helps us verify the issue.
  • We will review the request, may ask for additional information, and will respond within 3 business days.

6. Refund Method and Timing

Approved refunds are generally returned to the original payment method through Creem. Bank, card network, and payment provider processing times may vary after the refund is initiated.

Refunds may reduce or remove credits, plan access, generation capacity, or other paid entitlements associated with the refunded purchase.

7. Subscription Cancellation

Cancelling a subscription stops future renewals. Unless otherwise required by law or approved under this policy, cancellation does not automatically refund past charges or consumed credits.

You can request subscription cancellation or customer portal assistance by contacting support. Where available in the product, you may also manage cancellation directly from your account or through the Creem customer portal.

8. Chargebacks

If you initiate a chargeback, Creem and the payment provider may handle the dispute under their rules. Excessive or fraudulent disputes may lead to account restriction, suspension, or termination.
